The Listening Rooms is...
A personal space for writing about music. Albums I sit with, artists I return to, and conversations with people who are passionate about music (and occasionally, music gear!).

For now, the blog will consist of these series':
Album & EP Reviews:
New releases and older records I’ve come back to, not rated numerically. If it's here, I most likely like it to a certain extent. Life's too short to not enjoy what you're listening to.
In Rotation Series:
Discography-wide reflections on artists I’ve spent time with, and recommendations on where to start!
Marginalia Interviews:
The heart of why this blog exists. Marginalia is an interview series that will showcase people across the music community such as Rate Your Music, Last.fm, YouTube, Reddit, and others.
There are so many people out there sharing music out of passion from a handful of people to several hundred thousands. The majority of them do not do this for profit, but because they love music so much! Even when our tastes don’t overlap, I want this to be a space where they can talk about music, their journey, and what keeps them listening.
In general, my wish with Marginalia is that it can help spotlight those in the music hobby as fans first, no matter the genres they gravitate toward or the communities they come from.
Heavily inspired by Manuel Moreale’s People and Blogs series. Would certainly recommend you checking it out.
As for myself, I’m just someone in my early 20s trying to make sense of the world with music as a companion. Not really a writer, so please excuse any oddities along the way.
For those interested in the practical side, my listening setup lives here.
